Tea Leoni’s leading man onscreen and off-screen- Tim Daly
Tea Leoni's leading man on-screen is now her leading man off-screen, too!
The Madam Secretary actress is dating her costar Tim Daly, who plays the husband of her character Elizabeth Faulkner McCord on the political drama.
"Their chemistry on set is electrifying," a source tells of Leoni, 48, and Daly, 58. "They have an amazing time filming."
Recently, the pair was seen strolling down a street in L.A.'s Venice area "with their arms wrapped around each other," a witness says, adding, "They were definitely couple-y."
Daly had gushed about working together with Leoni sometime back saying that they went to the same high school in Vermont, years apart. "She's a person, like me and like a lot of people who have gone to that school...who can be perfectly happy sleeping in a wet sleeping bag on a stone floor, or staying in a fancy hotel," he said of his costar.
“She's not a whiner. She wants to work hard and she wants to have fun," he added. "We get along really, really well. We have a really good time. I've gotten along with plenty of people, but the chemistry sucked. And I've hated people where the chemistry is great. It's much better if you get along and the chemistry is good. That's perfect."
News of the blossoming romance comes four months after Leoni's divorce from ex-husband David Duchovny, with whom she has two kids. They were married for 14 years.
Daly, meanwhile, was married to Amy Van Nostrand from 1982 to 2010. They have two adult children.
